COMPANY STATEMENT
1st Scaffolding's objective is to be the market leader in the scaffolding and access market place within the south west of England. Its focus is on the commercial and industrial sector with its primary client base formed from the market leaders in housebuilding, construction, maintenance and civil engineering.
It operates to a clear set of Core Values and applies these values responsibly in the interests of our customers and the wider local community.

and inclusion of our staff.
OPERATIONS TEAM
The company employs 60 staff across the two branches. Our qualified senior scaffolders are supported by apprentices and labourers and managed by our experienced supervisors. The teams are organized and programmed by our dedicated operations management team with the support of our yard and HGV team. Our vehicles are co-ordinated via a GPS tracking system to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our clients. All our work conforms to Health & Safety regulations and is fully insured.
ESTIMATING & SALES TEAMS
Through our experienced management team and in-house trained estimators we are always on-hand to ensure you get the advice and specifications you require, when you require them. Enquiries are prioritised and dealt with efficiently. We also offer a full design service through our structural engineering partners.
TRAINING
All of our scaffolders are trained through the CITB CISRS, which involves a succession of college courses combined with on-site experience. The qualification route progressing from Trainee to Basic Scaffolder Part 1 and Part 2 and eventually Advanced Scaffolder receives industry wide recognition. Many of our teams are also qualified in first aid, powered access, banking and other site relevant skills.
