1^st Scaffolding have over 20 years’ experience covering all aspects of access requirements in all disciplines including major construction, Civil engineering, House building, conservation, renovation, nautical and water works, general domestic works, film, TV and food production.

We are also involved in Nuclear power installations and are currently engaged in works at Hinkley point in Somerset with ‘full access vetting’ competed.

We operate within a major geographical range taking in areas including Plymouth, Exeter, Newton abbot, Torquay, Totnes, Cullompton, Tiverton, Taunton, Bridgewater Yeovil, Dorchester and Bristol. We also cover more remote areas such as Dartmoor, Exmoor, the Quantocks and the  Somerset levels and often travel further afield for specific tasks and projects.

Web are able to manage such a wide area by working differently to most companies, rather than have our teams spending valuable time loading and driving lorries we put them in vans directly to site and take the materials to them. this gives us access to better scaffolders and a wider choice of project.

Our works range from simple access scaffolding such as roofing and chimney access, to basic housing and construction and more complicated structures such a temporary roofs , confined space, and containment. We employ a full range of products including traditional tube and fitting alongside Cuplock, Haki and delta systems.

We work to all current legislation conforming to BSEN 12811.1 as described in guidance notes NASC TG20. We use and issue NASC compliance sheets to all generic works and full designs with supporting calculations as necessary.

The very nature of our works often put us at risk so we naturally take safety very seriously with a comprehensive training programme and on site monitoring, supervision and tool box talks.
